The time has come again for the Virtual edition of the Yardi Advanced Solutions Conference! Virtual YASC is an amazing opportunity – totally FREE to existing Yardi clients! When attending YASC, you get to brush up on Yardi topics you know, see what’s new in products you use, find out what’s in the pipeline, and explore productions and solutions you’re not currently using that might be beneficial to your organization Here at BC Solutions, we always make sure to take advantage of Yardi’s conferences, whether digital or in-person.
Virtual YASC can definitely feel overwhelming, there are so many courses to choose from! While you can explore classes to your heart’s content thanks to them being on demand, from our experience attending these conferences, we’ve hand selected some courses we think would be the most beneficial to Yardi clients.
Spotlight Sessions
Never miss an opportunity to take a spotlight session. Spotlights being offered this year are Spotlight on Commercial, Spotlight on Investment Management, Spotlight on Multifamily, Spotlight on Affordable Housing, Spotlight on PHA, and Spotlight on Senior Living.
Yardi’s Spotlight sessions are product overviews with an emphasis on product roadmaps, new products, and how your Yardi products are adapting to meet the ever-changing market. You can expect plenty of great information this year on how each product is evolving with Voyager 8/The Elevate platform. For Affordable and PHA spotlights, you can also expect a discussion on how Yardi is responding to HUD/regulatory changes and any anticipated developments.
The first morning of an in-person YASC is usually full of product spotlights, and we think it’s a great place to start for your virtual YASC attendance as well!
Voyager 8 Classes
While you can anticipate most classes this year to have at least a partial focus on where the product is in relation to Voyager 8 and functionality in Voyager 8, it’s a great idea to check out the Voyager 8 specific courses to get a good grasp on all that’s available to you as more and more clients begin adopting it.

Affordable & PHA – Compliance Manager
If you’re a housing authority or use Yardi’s Affordable Module, you’re likely not using Voyager 8 yet as they are still rolling out the Compliance Manager module. We know our clients have been asking about it, and this is a great way to familiarize yourselves with it and get more detailed information about roll out. Courses include: Voyager 8 Compliance Manager Introduction, HUD 50059 Monthly Processing in Voyager 8 Compliance Manager.
Client Panels
One of the most valuable types of classes at YASC, in our opinion, is a client panel discussion. Yardi is such a massive tool that is used by so many companies, and in client panel discussions you can see the different ways Yardi is used by and works for your peers. This year they have one, Elevate: Client Panel Discussion that is focused on usage and adoption of the Elevate platform. It’s definitely a great one if you’re considering the usage of any Elevate tools, or if you already use it and want to see what others are doing with it!
Those are just our suggestions – but YASC covers a huge amount of products. If there are other products you are interested in using, use and want best practice reviews for, or are just curious about, this is a great opportunity.
